The second week of #52wkhobby has flown past and my Bloodthirster is almost complete. I did have an unplanned diversion though and started playing with some Deathrattle Skeletons…

This weekend, I managed to get a 1500 point three way game in, using some of the new rules from the new Blades of Khorne Battletome. I’ve not got the right combination of models to field any Battalions yet so was simply using Blood Blessing Prayers, new Artefacts and Command Traits, and the new Blood Tithe system.
Myself and many other Khorne players are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new Blades of Khorne Battletome this weekend (8th April). The announcement came in the middle of March that we were getting one and we got a bit more information this Saturday when pre-orders went live.
Needless to say, we’ve had a number of leaked images of pages from the Battletome appear on the internet from various sources. These are slowly spreading onto the usual places (I’m sure it’ll appear on BoLS in a week citing how new it is) but I thought I’d try and collect them together in a post so that it’s nice and easy to reference them. I’ll also throw in my own opinions as I go.
So my Khorne Bloodbound has begun to grow from it’s small 1000 points and last Friday I began to put together a second unit of Blood Warriors, though this time armed with paired Goreaxes (which allows me to re-roll To Hit rolls of 1 in combat).
My original intention had been to assemble five of the box and pack out my original unit and then use the rest for kit-bashing chariots and similar. However after some thought, I can’t see me adding chariots to the army anytime soon, so it just made sense to make the whole unit up for my 2000 points.
